Jack M. Rgnonti

Jack M. Rgnonti, age 18, of Hastings, died Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the University of Minnesota Childrens Hospital in Minneapolis following an extended illness. Jack Mitchell, the son of James and Amber (Wells) Rgnonti, was born on May 14, 1996 in Minneapolis. He was baptized on July 21, 1996 at Lutheran Church of Our Saviors in Rosemount, with his sponsors Terri Benham and Tom Rgnonti and family present. Jack was currently a senior at Hastings High School where he truly loved and appreciated his teachers and bus staff. He also enjoyed bowling, movies, playing video games and spending time with his family. He is survived by his parents, Amber Wells Rgnonti and Jim (Stacy) Rgnonti, both of Hastings; his sister, Paige Rgnonti of Orlando, FL; his grandparents, Fred (special friend Carol Pevovar) Rgnonti of Hudson; Marilyn Rgnonti of Hastings and Miles Alice Wells of Apple Valley; and by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation and funeral service will be held at Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home Cremation Services, 201 E. Seventh St., Hastings on Thursday, March 5, 2015 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. followed by a funeral at 6:00 p.m. Private family interment will be held. Jacks family would like to offer a special thank you to the caring staff at the University of Minnesota Childrens Hospital for all of their loving care over the last weeks, as well as to his teachers and bus staff that meant so much to him.
