Isaac James �Tubby� Lucking, 26 years old, the hometown kid from Vermillion, passed away suddenly on July 5, 2013. Tubby brought out the best in life from the laughter he created on the job site to the smiles he brought to anyone he met. Tubby lived life for adventure, with a �No Regrets� mentality. He was an avid ATV�er, fisherman, hunter and the life of every party. He will be greatly missed by his family and innumerable friends. Isaac was born in Hastings, MN on February 18, 1987 to Randy and Patty (Harmon) Lucking. He graduated from Hastings High School in 2005. Isaac was a heavy equipment operator for Ames Construction. He is survived by his parents, Randy and Patty Lucking of Vermillion; siblings Mike (Sherri) Leflay of Coates, Katie (Paul) Yang of Hastings, and Andy (Heather) Lucking of St. Paul. He was the �fun uncle� of Cody, Corbin, Austin and Allie Leflay and Ty and Devon Yang. Survivors also include grandparents Theresa Lucking of Hastings and Richard (Mary Ann) Scherman of Jacksboro, TN as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Isaacwas preceded in death by his grandfather Ray Lucking; uncle Joe Ginther; great grandmother Ann Curran; and uncle Joseph Thomas Harmon, who passed at a young age. The funeral Mass, officiated by Fr. Stan Mader will be held 10:30 AM Thursday, July 11, 2013 (with visitationheldone hour prior) at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 106 Main Street West, Vermillion. The wake will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 from 4-8 PM at St. John's School in Vermillion. The pallbearers are Justin Partington, Matt Beissel, Nick Beissel, Tony Werner, Brad Kummer, Dave Walus, and honorary pallbearers, Josh Ginther, Jake Ginther, Andy Meyers, Tony Scully, Scott Werner, Matt Lucking, and Tim Schaffer.
