Henry J. Fox

Henry John Fox, 94, of Rosemount, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2021. He was welcomed to heaven by his wife, Katie and son Robert. Henry, the son of John and Clara (Conzemius) Fox, was born on October 29, 1926. Henry was united in marriage to Catherine Shields on September 5, 1953, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Rosemount. Henry was a longtime farmer in rural Rosemount and was dedicated to his family and his faith. He enjoyed traveling, playing cards and cribbage. He had a passion for farming, learning, serving his church and community. Henry served on the Dakota County Fair board for over 70 years. Henry was a longtime member of St. Agatha's Catholic Church in Coates. Henry is survived by children, Steve (Nancy) Fox, Greg (Sandi) Fox, Mary (Hank) Broback, Barb (Tom) Zweber, Donna (Mark) Bigelow and Julie Fox; 19 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers, Joseph Fox, Richard (Joan) Fox and Martin (Joanne) Fox, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation, Tuesday, October 19, 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Starkson’s Family Life Celebration Chapel, 3075 Vermillion St., Hastings. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at St. Agatha’s Catholic Church in Coates. MASKS ARE REQUIRED AT CHURCH. Interment will be held at St. Agatha's Cemetery near Coates followed by lunch at Starkson’s Family Life Celebration Chapel, Hastings. The service will be recorded and posted on the Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel’s website following the service.
