Helen M. Werth

HelenM. Werth, age 80, of Hastings died October 30, 2009 at her home. Helenwas born May 16, 1929 in Hastings to Jesse and Amanda (Carlson) Wildes. She was a 1947 graduate of Hastings High School, and was united in marriage to John Werth on June 2, 1951 in Dothan, Alabama. Helenwas employed at Sontag Insurance Company, and for 41 years at the Gift Tree. She enjoyed gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Ruby Haas, Margie Coonrod; and brother Beise Wildes. Helenis survived by her husband, John; children, Cindy (Steve) Mollick, Linda (Bill) Deitner, and Mark (fianc�e Melissa Pittman), all of Hastings; grandchildren, Krista (Eric) Mace, Missy (Paul) Jungbauer, Jeff Deitner, Kate Dietner; great grandchildren, Will and Brooke Mace, Jaime Jungbauer; sisters, Lorraine Sontag, Evy Matsch, and Lois Keene. The Funeral Service, officiated by Rev. Percy Damrow, will be held 11AM Monday, November 2, 2009 at St. John�s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 202 West Eighth St., Hastings, with a visitation two hours prior to the service. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren. Burial will be at a later date at Lakeside Cemetery.
