Helen Louise Emrick

Emrick, Helen Louise (Thompson), 94, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2010, at Prescott Nursing and Rehab Community in Prescott, WI. Helen was born on July 31, 1915, in Champaign, IL, to Earl and Emma Thompson. She attended college at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and married Franklin Emrick on April 15, 1933. Helen and Franklin retired to Roswell, NM, before moving back to Hastings, MN. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her brother, Lyle Thompson. She is survived by her three sons: George, Dennis (Carolyn) and Robert (Eileen), as well as 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by Nancy Emrick.There will be a gathering of family and friends at Lakeside Cemetery in Hastings, MN on Saturday, May 15, 2010, at 2:00 PM.
