He came to the U.S. from Mexico in 1953 to complete his post doctoral studies. He built a prestigious medical practice in psychiatry where he healed and touched many lives throughout his life and career. His unforgetable personality and strong character will be remembered by all who had the privilege to meet him. Hector was known for his boundless enthusiasm and numerous interests. He was a healer, a scholar, an outdoorsman, an artist and chef extraordinaire. He kept bees, he tended his apple orchard, he made wine, and he brought everyone into his love for life. Most of all, Hector was a loving husband and devoted family man. Preceded in death by parents Pedro & Aurora, sister Ruth. Hector is survived by wife Janis; children Jeanine Zeller Pendrey of Round Rock, TX, Pamela Zeller of West St. Paul, Alejandro (Faith) Zeller of Rochester, Andres (Beth) Zeller of Stillwater, & their mother Priscilla Zeller; grandchildren Leah, Elise, Dylan, Adriana, Celestine, Zachary, Derek, Austin, Alexander Francesca, Alden; great-grandchildren April mother-in-law Genevieve Kuhry of Graceville, sister-in-law Mary (Joseph) Wroblewski of Eden Prairie, brother-in-law Louis (Sara) Kuhry of Glyndon, sister-in-law Patricia Kuhry of Carmichael, CA, �brother-in-law Jose Losano of Mexico City; also 2 nieces, 5 nephews, & countless friends.� Visitation 4-8 PM Friday at CATURIA-SMIDT FUNERAL HOME, 201� E. 7th Street, Hastings. Funeral service 2 PM Saturday at ST. ELIZABETH ANN SETON CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2035 W. 15th St., Hastings, with visitation 1 hour prior to the service at church.,
