Harold R. Bilderback

Harold Roger Bilderback, age 85 of Hastings, died peacefully on Wednesday morning, October 2, 2019, at Augustana Care of Hastings. He was born in Durand, Wisconsin, on February 27, 1934, to Harold J. and Bernice (LaPean) Bilderback. Harold served in the United States Army as a sharpshooter from 1954 to 1957. He retired from Metro Transit as a bus mechanic in 1995. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Ann (Berg) in 2015. Harold is survived by his children, Brenda (Bob) McCoy and Michael Bilderback; grandchildren, Melissa (Steve) Beissel and Bryan (Carissa Hansen) McCoy; and six great grandchildren. Harold was honored with a private family ceremony and will be laid to rest at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
