Harold "Hal" John Schuebel

Harold J. 'Hal' Schuebel, age 89, of Cottage Grove, passed away at Woodbury Health Care Center on April 9, 2011. Hal was born February 19, 1922 in Chippewa County, WI to Andrew and Josephine Schuebel. He married Nona (Lucas) August 20, 1946 in Cadott, WI.He is preceded in death by an infant daughter and his brother, Bob. Hal is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Nona; children, Mary (Jim) Sanford; Tim (Susan) Schuebel; Vicki (Dave) Sass; Sam (Lynn) Schuebel; Tony Schuebel; Ruth Thayer (Roger) Kocinski; Kurt (Lisa) Schuebel; grandchildren, Clare (Joe) Weiner; Katie; A.J.; Sam; Ryan; Allison; Luke; Jen; Steph; Rudy; and Ellen; great grandson, Cosby; and siblings, Don; Phyllis and Jim.Mass of Christian Burial, Friday (4/15), 11:00 a.m. at St. Rita's Catholic Church, 8694 80th St. S., Cottage Grove. Gathering one hour prior to mass. A Private Interment will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
