Machart, Harold E. �Hody� Age 83, passed away on 1/31/13 in Hastings, MN formerly of Wauwatosa and Eau Claire, WI. Born 9/28/29 in Loma, ND to Louis and Mary (Gurley) Machart. Survived by son, Brian (Jean) of Lakeville, MN, three grandchildren, Caroline, Ella, and Olivia, sisters Cordy(David) Strand and Bonnie (Leland) Sturlaugson and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by wife, Edith (Ruenzel) of 52 years; parents; sisters Louella, June, Eleanor, and Marion; brothers Donald, Frank, and Louis; and nieces, Nancy and Janet.Hody grew up in Langdon, ND. After his father�s death in 1945, he supported his mother and sisters. He briefly served in the U.S. Army. In 1952, he moved to Milwaukee and worked 32 years as a machinist for Cutler-Hammer. In 1959, he married Edie. An avid hunter and fisherman, he also enjoyed drawing and painting nature and scenes of the ND plains. The family thanks the Regina staff for their outstanding care of Harold during his residence there. Services will be held at Regina Assisted Living 1175 Nininger Road, Hastings, MN on Monday, 2/4/13 at 11 A.M, visitation at 10:15 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Regina Foundation, Hastings, MN. Interment at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield, WI.
