Hannah Naomi Johnson, age 37, passed away with family at her side on Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at Regions Hospital in St Paul, MN. She had been battling a persistent blood infection since early 2019, requiring lengthy hospitalizations and ultimately open-heart surgery to address damage caused by the infection. She fought so hard, with loving support by her mom, daughter, and entire family. She entered the hospital again on Sunday, November 22, 2020 following a brain bleed and stroke. Our deep gratitude to the Regions Hospital ICU surgeons, doctors and nurses who worked tirelessly around the clock in their effort to save Hannah’s life. But Heaven has another Angel as she has joined Uncle Jim, grandparents, Herb and Margaret Johnson, Karl and Edna Skold and Robert M. Johnson in our Lord’s loving embrace. She was born February 14, 1983, in Fridley, to Robert “Lucky” and Lucia Johnson. She was a 2001 graduate of White Bear Lake High School. Her beloved daughter, Isabel Jesslyn Mau, was born March 5, 2007. Hannah was a beautiful vivacious woman with a charisma that charmed all who met her. Bright and fun loving, her early jobs were in the food and beverage industry. She went on to train as a real estate closer, working for various mortgage firms. Hannah truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, chatting with friends and family, raising her daughter, spending time with her nieces, and nephews, and especially playing frisbee and ball with our pup-pup, Chessie. Hannah had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Isabel; her mom, Lucia Johnson; her dad, Robert L. (Sandra) Johnson; brothers, Zachariah Johnson, Nicodemus (Stacey) Johnson, and Mark Johnson; sister, Melanie (née Johnson) Stirneman; uncle, Don (Virginia) Johnson; aunt, Cathy Johnson; nieces, Lilliana, Gabriella and Elaina Johnson; nephews, Seth and Elijah Johnson, Sinjin and Daymond Santell and Mark Johnson Jr.; and cousins, Nathan (Kristi) Johnson, Elisa (Russ) Gipson, Micah Johnson, Erika Johnson, Matthew Johnson, Caitlin Johnson; and godmother, Martha Seltz; and friends. The family will have a Celebration of Life Service to honor Hannah’s life and legacy at a later date. Arrangements are being completed by Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings.
