Gwendolyn Joy Swanson

Gwendolyn J. Swanson, age 70 of Hastings, formerly of Farmington, MN passed away peacefully at Augustana Health Care Center in Hastings, MN. Gwen was born April 18, 1945 in Warren, MN to Herbertand Irene(Sjodin) Swanson. She graduated from Stephen High School in 1963. Gwen worked as an auditor throughout most of her life. She had a special love for animals, especially horses, as well as a lifelong love of puzzles, games and crafts. At Oak Ridge, she was a "fixture" at the puzzle table. Gwen is survived by her siblings Joan Swanson of Northfield, MN, Erma Susedik of Sarcoxie, MO, Marilyn (Jack) Grace of Butte, MT and Rodney Swanson of Webster, MN; aunt Joyce Sjodin of Farmington, MN; many nieces and nephews. Gwen was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Yvonne Crocker. No Services are planned at this time.
