Gloria M. Lafavor

Gloria Marion LaFavor, 65, passed away September 9th, 2010 in her home in Hastings. On March 8th, 1945, Gloria was born in St. Paul to Leslie and Violet (Paul) Harwell. On November 23rd, 1963, she married Gregory LaFavor and was later blessed with three children: Ken, David and Julie. Over the years, Gloria did many arts and crafts and enjoyed fishing. Because of her kind and generous heart she was involved with many community events and clubs.She is preceded in death by parents: Leslie and Violet Harwell, and siblings: Vern Harwell, Red Harwell, Sis Schouveller, Joann Tetzlaff, and John Harwell.Gloria will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 46 years: Greg; loving children: Ken (Joan) LaFavor, David (Judy) LaFavor, and Julie (Roger Kimmes Jr.) LaFavor; grandchildren: Kristin (Corey Card) LaFavor, Kayla (Dylan Andersen) LaFavor, Eric Gappa, Tessa LaFavor, Dustin Kimmes, and Lily Kimmes; siblings: Jean Grube, George (Georgeanna) Harwell, Don Harwell, and Richard (Nancy) Harwell; and by many nephews, nieces, other relatives and good friends.Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, September 13th, 2010 at 11am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 West 15th Street, Hastings. Visitation will be one hour prior to the start of mass and on Sunday, September 12th, 2010 from 4-8pm at Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring Street, Hastings.
