Gerald M. Nistler, age 75, of Sun City West, Arizona died Friday, June 13, 2008. He is formerly of Hastings, and is a retired Hastings Police Officer, and veteran of the U.S. Army.Gerald is preceded in death by his first wife Teresa M. Nistler. He is survived by his wife Marjorie (nee Baker) Henrickson Nistler, 4 children Charles (Yvonne) Nistler of Hastings, Karen (Gary) Christensen of Lakeville, Mary (Tony) Simek of New Prague and Deb (Mark) Christianson of Hastings; 5 grandchildren Carleen Christensen, Tyler Christianson, Amy (John) Stephens, Joleen Christensen and Zach Christianson;5 brothers and 1 sister; nieces and nephews; 6 step children Kathleen Krech, Kris (Ray) Angerman, Kraig Ellingson, Kari Conner, Debra (Arnold) Hubers William Henrickson; 12 step grandchildren 8 step great grandchildren.Avisitation for Mr. Nistler will be held Wednesday from 4-8 pm at ST ELIZABETH ANN SETON CATHOLIC CHURCH; 2035 W 15th Street, Hastings, MN and also on Thursday 1 hour prior to the funeral.The Funeral Mass will be Thursday at 10 am with interment following in the parish cemetery with military honors.Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
