Gerald F. "Jerry" Ryder

Gerald F. "Jerry" Ryder, age 77, of Hastings, formerly of Inver Grove Heights died June 6, 2015 from injuries sustained in an auto accident on May 20, 2015 in Hastings. Jerry was born November 21, 1937 in St. Paul, MN to Frederick and Gladys (Guttermen) Ryder. A graduate of South St. Paul High School, he married Sharon Brom on January 16, 1960 in St. Paul and was employed as a machinist foreman with the Waterous Company in South St. Paul prior to his retirement. Jerry is survived by his wife Sharon; sons Scott Ryder and Jeff (Tracy) Ryder; daughters Lori (Jim) Harper and Michelle (Joe) Peterson; also many grandchildren and his three sisters, Donna, Dorothy and Roxanne. The family is holding private services.
