George A. Helcl Jr., age 69, of Hastings, died suddenly on Monday, December 29, 2014 at the Hudson Hospital in Hudson, Wisconsin. George Arthur, the son of George Sr. and Ordella (Severson) Helcl, was born on July 18, 1945 in Northfield. He attended Hastings High School and graduated with the class of 1963. On September 29, 1987, he married Roula Stratigoula in Hastings. George worked for thirty five years at Hudson Sprayers in Hastings. He loved fishing, restoring old cars, and doing mechanical work.He is survived by his wife Roula of Hastings. Private family services will be held. Arrangements are being completed by the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home Cremation Services in Hastings.
