Genevieve M. Biskupski

Genevieve "Gen" Biskupski, age 100, died peacefully on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at the Augustana Health Care Center in Hastings. Genevieve, the daughter of Claudius and Emma (Denn) Irrthum, was born on November 19, 1914 in New Trier. She was united in marriage to William T. Biskupski on June 15, 1937 and he later preceded her in death on May 6, 2006. Gen had been employed with H.D. Hudson Manufacturing. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one brother and four sisters; and by her grandson Charles. Gen is survived by her children, William J. (Nancy) Biskupski of Hastings, Dorothy Rowan of Hastings and Karen (Jerry) McKay of Andover; also 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; and by many other relatives and friends. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial, officiated by Fr. David Hennen will be held 11 AM Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 West Fifteenth Street, in Hastings. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church.
