Frances M. Maybee

Frances M. Maybee, age 93, of Hastings, died Monday, September 22, 2014 at the United Hospital in St. Paul following a sudden illness. Frances was born on August 25, 1921. She eventually moved to Minnesota and began working at the Minneapolis Grain Exchange as an accountant. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and the National Fraternity of the Secular Franciscan Order, where she enjoyed the many friendships shared in this organization. She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Daniel, Clarence, Arthur, Ray, Charlotte and Martha. Frances is survived by her nephews, Robert, Arnold, Ralph, Roger, and Richard Oldham and by other relatives and friends. The Funeral Mass, officiated by Fr. Martin Siebenaler will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, September 26, 2014 at the Regina Chapel, 1175 Nininger Road, Hastings. Visitation will be held for one-half hour prior to services at Regina Chapel. Interment will follow in the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Cemetery, Hastings.
