Frances B. Huggins

Frances B. Huggins, age 98 of Hastings and formerly of Lakeland, passed on to our Lord on December 27, 2016, at Regina Senior Living in Hastings. Frances was born June 21, 1918. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles, parents, siblings, daughter Bonnie and son Robert. She is survived by her son, John (Judy); daughters, Dorothy (Charles) Kunde, Mary (Wayne) Warnke, Jeanne (Michael) Albee and Sharon Brown; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, also many nieces and nephews. Though Frances was born in Houghton, Michigan, she spent most of her life in the Twin Cities and Saint Croix Valley areas of Minnesota. She was known for her deep faith, love of family and was an involved member of her faith communities and choir. Frances was a progressive and talented woman who taught her family about God, integrity, loyalty, honesty, love and to simply make life fun. Many of our memories are filled with her beautiful smile, musical laugh, great affection, fascinating conversations and spicy personality. She influenced many lives and is deeply missed. A private service will be held at a later date. Memorials are preferred to the charity of donors choice in lieu of flowers.
