Floyd W. Latuff

Floyd W. Latuff Sr., age 87, of Hastings died Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at the Augustana Health Care Center. Floyd was born July 16, 1922 in Marshan Township to Michael and Frances (Freiermuth) Latuff, and had farmed for a living. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Frances in 1968; son Lee A. Latuff in 1993; sister Leona King; brothers Ray and Michael Latuff. Floyd is survived by his children, Ruth Sylvander, Thomas (Karen) Latuff, Floyd Jr. (Jan) Latuff, and Scott (Wendy) Latuff, all of Hastings; also 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral mass, officiated by Fr.JamesPerkl will be held at 11:00am Saturday, October 10, 2009 at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 West Fifteenth Street, Hastings with a visitation held 1 hour prior to Saturday service at church. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. The 7 grandson pallbearers are Thomas Latuff Jr., Daniel Latuff, Michael Latuff, Troy Latuff, Tracy Latuff, Steve Sylvander, and Eric Sylvander.
