Evelyn Matsch

Evelyn Marie (Wildes) Matsch, age 89, of Hastings, passed away July 12, 2010 at the Regina Long Term Care Center surrounded by her family. She was born in Hastings, on September 22, 1920 to Jesse Wildes and Lillian Amanda (Carlson) Wildes. She then married Loran L. Matsch. Preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Brown; sisters, Helen Werth; Ruby (Peter) Haas; Lorraine (Ed) Sontag; Marge (Jack) Coonrod; brother, Beise (Monica) Wildes. Survived by her husband of 70 years, Loran L. Matsch; daughter, Marlene (John) Hildebrandt of Hastings; son, Mike (Rita) Matsch ; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Lois (Harry) Keene; son-in-law, Duane Brown; brother-in-law, John Werth; Many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial, officiated by Father Robert Altier, will be held Thursday, July 15, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Regina Memorial Chapel, 1175 Nininger Road in Hastings. Visitation 1 hour prior to mass at the chapel. Interment at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Cemetery with a funeral luncheon following in the gathering space of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 15th Street West in Hastings.
