Eugenia "Jean" Yager

Eugenia (Jean) Yager, age 71, of Waverly passed away peacefully on December 12, 2015. Jean was born January 8, 1944 to Joseph and Hildegard (Remer) Hausladen on the family farm in Waverly. Jean loved to spend time with her family and friends. Her three granddaughters were her pride and joy. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and playing cards. Jean’s greatest attributes were her humility, respect for others and sincere love she showered on everyone she knew. Jean truly loved and was loved by her family and friends. She had a profound love for Jesus Christ, and the love of the Holy Spirit radiated in her. She will be sorely missed by many. Jean was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Marcel Hausladen; and sisters, Mildred Hausladen, Bonaventure Hausladen, Betty and Jerome Kittock, and Doris Outley. She is survived by her husband, Glen; sons Michael (Julie) Yager, Tim (Wendy) Yager, Dan (Amy) Yager; grandchildren, Amanda, Morgan, and Mallory Yager; brothers, Kenneth (Beatrice), Clarence, Robert (Mary Ann), Emmett (Jane), Arnold (Linda), Conrad (Sue), and Larry Hausladen; sisters, Ann (John) Dalheimer, and Susan (Duayne) Heimerl; brother in law, Jim Outley; and many other relatives and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thurs (12/17) at 11:00 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Waverly. A visitation will take place at church on Wed (12/16) from 4:00 - 8:00 PM. with a Rosary service at 7:30 PM, and from 9:30 - 10:45 AM at church on Thursday. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery in Waverly.
