Eugene Rohr

Eugene "Bull" Rohr, age 76, died on Monday, June 23, 2008 at the Augustana Health Care Center in Hastings.Eugene was born July 6, 1931 in Hastings to Peter and Marie (Mainz) Rohr. A 1949 graduate of Hastings High School, he served in the U.S. Army and had worked as a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry prior to retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers Lawrence, Jerome, and Gerald Rohr; and 3 sisters Charlotte Hastings, Evelyn Johnson, and Sharon Rohr.Eugene is survived by his 4 daughters Lynn (Randy) Arndtson, Debra (Joel) White, Margene Rohr all of Hastings, and Robin Rohr of St. Paul;his 6 grandchildren Alyssa and Kayla Arndtson, Megan and Corey White, Tyler and Travis Cysiewski;2 brothers Donald and Edward Rohr;1 sister Mary Jean Engstrom; also survived by Margaret Rohr and many other relatives and friends. The Funeral Mass, officiated by Fr. James Perkl will be held at 10:00am Thursday, June 26, at ST. ELIZABETH ANN SETON CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2035 W. 15th St., Hastings, with the visitation held AT CHURCH from 4-8pm Wednesday and 1 hour prior to the service. The pallbearers are his 6 grandchildren.
