Eugene Pitra

Pitra, Eugene 'Gene' age 72 of Hastings passed away Jan. 2, 2009 after a brief battle with cancer. Survived by wife, Marilyn; children, Joe (Susie), Beth (Ron) Armstrong, Rosemarie Defiel, Ruth (Pat) Kane; 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Sister Mary Rosaria, OSF, Gladys Hamerski; other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial Monday (1/5) 11:00 A.M. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church 2035 15th St. W., Hastings. Visitation Sunday 4:00 P.M. €“ 7:00 P.M. at the Wise Family Funeral Home 400 Spring St., Hastings and 1 hour prior to mass. Interment at parish cemetery.
