Eugene J. Dummer

Eugene J. �Ebo� Dummer, age 78 of Hastings died Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at St. Mary�s Hospital in Rochester, MN. He was born October 14, 1934 in Hastings to Francis and Agnes (Doffing) Dummer . Ebo was a graduate of Hastings High School, class of 1952 and had worked as a beautician. He was an avid golfer and hunter, and enjoyed playing cards at the Senior Center. Preceded in death by his parents and sister Jan Burr; Ebo is survived by his brothers Gordon Dummer of Long Beach, CA and Fr. Donald Dummer of Tewksbury, MA; sister Mary Lorentz of Hastings; nephews and nieces Jeff Burr, Mike Lorentz, Becky Ruiz and Roxie Welter. The Funeral Mass, officiated by Fr. James Perkl will be held 2 PM Friday, March 22, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 West Fifteenth St., Hastings with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment in the parish cemetery will be held at a later date.
