Ervin P. Peine

Ervin P. Peine, age 78, of Vermillion died Thursday, September 23, 2010, at St. Mary�s Hospital in Rochester. Ervin was born December 30, 1931 in Empire Township to Henry Sr. and Margaret (Wollmering) Peine. He was united in marriage to Lorraine (Werner) on June 2, 1956 in Hampton. He attended Parochial school at St. Mary�s in New Trier. Ervin was the founder of Peine Plumbing Heating, and was a member of the Northfield American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister and brother-in-lawMary Roseand JoeFeidt; sister Vi Weber; brother Kenneth �Butch� Peine; sister-in-law Deloris Peine; brother-in-law Godfrey �Fritz� Beissel. Ervin is survived by his wife Lorraine; children Wayne (Nancy) Peine of Farmington, Karen (Bruce) Simon of Minnetonka, Mark (Julie) Peine of Vermillion, Denise (Frank) Maroni of Empire, Al (Nola) Peine of Rochester, and Janeen (Chad) Gifferson of Savage; grandchildren Alison and Connor Peine, Adam and Taylor Simon, Jena and Amanda Peine, Frankie and Madison Maroni, Andrew Peine, and Carly and Quintin Gifferson; brothers John (Helen) Peine of Cannon Falls, Henry (Monica) Peine, Lawrence (Mary) Peine, Lloyd (Lenore) Peine all of Hampton; sisters Marge Beissel, and Irma (Ron) Green both of Hastings; brother-in-law Jim (Jan) Weber of Hastings; sister-in-law Karleen Peine of Hastings. The Funeral Mass, officiated by Rev. Stan Mader, will be held 11AM Saturday, September 25, 2010 at St. John�s Catholic Church in Vermillion. Visitation will be from 4-8PM Friday, September 24, 2010 at St. John�s School, and also one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. The pallbearers will be Steve Peine, Dan Peine, Glen Peine, Warren Peine, Jim Feidt, and Kevin Weber. Honorary pallbearers are Darold Brockman, Darryl Nelson, Ray Ozmun, Ed Stifter, Ronald Kieffer, and Jim Pietsch.
