Emma Doris Donndelinger

Emma Doris Donndelinger, age 86, of Hastings died July 26, 2010 at Regina Nursing Home. Shewas born June 26, 1924 in Aberdeen, SD to Lindahl and Nellie (Voet) Jacobson. She married Francis Donndelinger September of 1945 in Hastings and had worked as a secretary for the public school system for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Francis; sisters Linda and Vy; brothers Buddie and Lloyd; son-in-law Bob Busching. Emma Doris is survived by her children Dave (Sue) Donndelinger of Oak Grove, Jerry (Kris) Donndelinger of Hastings, Jean Busching of Breezy Point, Julie (Terry) Ecker of Hastings, and Mark Donndelinger of Hastings; grandchildren Peggy, Becki, Dave Jr., and Burton Donndelinger, Jamie Eggers, Fran Donndelinger, Heather Busching, Lisa Melberg, Jessica and Emily Ecker; great-grandchildren Emma and Camden Donndelinger.The Funeral Mass, officiated byRev. James Perkl will be held at 2pm Friday, July 30, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. Fifteenth Street, Hastings. The visitation will be from 5-8pm Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 E. Seventh Street, Hastings, and one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. The pallbearers are Francis Donndelinger, Brandon Eggers, Burton Donndelinger, Jon Huehn, Becki Donndelinger, and Lisa Melberg.
