Elinor E. Majeski

Elinor E. Majeski, age 88 of Hastings, died peacefully on Friday, August 19, 2016 at United Hospital in St. Paul. Elinor Elizabeth was born October 8, 1927 in Prescott, WI to Andrew James and Cecelia (Christensen) Madsen. She married Werner "Doc" Majeski on May 10, 1947 in Hastings. He passed away October 27, 2007.Elinor is preceded by her parents, her husband Werner "Doc" Majeski, siblings Lyman, George, Russel Madsen, Cora Spreemen and Ethyl Helmer. She is survived by her children Mike (Kathy) Majeski of Nebraska, Peter (Kathy Palmer) Majeski of Hastings, Jim (Linda) Majeski of Elk River, Bob (Cindy) Majeski of Hastings, Kathie (Larry Paulson) Majeski of Roseville and Julie (Rob) Solfest of Minneapolis; 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.A Funeral Mass officiated by Father Thomas O'Brien, will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, August 25, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 15th Street West, Hastings with a vistation from 9:00 - 10:00 AM. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery will follow. Pallbearers are Jake Majeski, John Majeski, Joe Majeski, Will Majeski, Brian Majeski and Sue Kopecky.
