Eileen C. Fasbender

Eileen Claire Fasbender, age 87, of Phoenix, AZ, formerly of Key Largo, FL and Hastings, MN died June 29, 2016 in Phoenix.Eileen was born on June 11, 1929 in Hastings to Dr. Herman Albert and Marie (Niedere) Fasbender. She attended Villa Maria Academy in Frontenac and received her nursing degree from St. Joseph Hospital in St. Paul. She formerly worked at the Latto Hospital in Hastings and later for 3M Chemolite in Cottage Grove. Upon her retirement she moved to Key Largo, FL and then to Phoenix, AZ.Eileen is preceded in death by her parents Dr. Herman Albert Fasbender and Marie Niedere Ryan; 3 brothers Dr. William Fasbender, Dr. Herman T. Fasbender and Robert Fasbender. She is survived by a sister Mary Barham of Phoenix, AZ and a brother David (Maureen) Fasbender of Hastings; a sister in law Maureen Fasbender of Prescott, WI also by many nieces and nephews.A Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Father David Hennen, will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, July 8, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 15th Street West, Hastings. A visitation will be held at the church for 1 hour prior to the funeral. Interment will take place at the parish cemetery.
