Edward M. Peine

Edward M. Peine, age 88, of Hastings Died 12/27/07. Edward was born to Peter and Anna (nee Kimmes) Peine on January 13, 1919 in Miesville, MN. He married Bernadette M. Maher on October 12, 1943 in Lakeville, MN. He had worked as a farmer, on a road crew for the county, and as an equipment operator at 3-M Chemolite before retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a daughter Jane Hanson daughter-in-law Kathy Peine. Edward is survived by 4 sons Jerry, Peter (Lynda), Patrick (Steve), Tom (Diane); 12 grandchildren 10 great-grandchildren; brother Herb Peine; a son-in-law Bob Hanson; also many nieces nephews. The Funeral Service will be held 10am Monday, December 31, 2007 at ST. ELIZABETH ANN SETON CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2035 W. 15th St., Hastings. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. The visitation will be held AT THE CHURCH in the MOTHER SETON HALL WEST ENTRANCE from 4-8pm Sunday and also 1 hour prior to the funeral service.
