Edward M. Flanegan

Edward M. Flanegan, age 84, of Hampton, died Sunday, December 25, 2011 at his home. Edward was born June 7, 1927 in Salem, New Jersey to Edward S. and Alice (Jones) Flanegan. He served in the United StatesAir Force for 6 years and married Carolyn Mae Zahradka at St. Mary�s Church in Neillsville, WI on June 11, 1957. Edward owned and operated Flanegan Electric prior to his retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Lorraine Pennington and brother Clarence Flanegan. Edward is survived by his wife Carolyn; six children Gregory Flanegan of Lead, SD, Bradley Flanegan of Plato, MN, Curtis (Kim) Flanegan of Hampton, Nancy (Randy) Baldwin of Prior Lake, MN, Sandra (Tom) Waska of Hastings, and Melinda (Terry) Johnson of Vermillion; also eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. The Memorial Mass, officiated by Fr. James Perkl will be held 11:00 AM Friday, December 30, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 West Fifteenth St., Hastings, with visitation 2 hours prior to the service. Interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery will be held at a later date. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
