Edna Mary Kieffer

Edna M. Kieffer, age 93, of Hastings, died Sunday, August 24, 2014. She was born November 5, 1920 in Hastings to William and Agnes (McNamara) Riley. She graduated from Hastings High School in 1938, and she then graduated from Eitel Hospital for nursing. She worked at Regina Hospital for 22 years as an RN. Edna was loved by all. Everyone will miss her Irish smile and her great sense of humor. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles and seven siblings. She is survived by her children Ray (Susan) Kieffer of Nisswa, Bill (Kymi) Kieffer of Rosemont, Mary Lou (Brad) Tittensor of Nampa, ID, Lewis (Sue) Kieffer of Apple Valley and Micky (Ted) Feyder of Nisswa; 17 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 27, 2014 from 4-8 PM at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 Seventh Street East in Hastings, MN. The Funeral Mass officiated by Fr. Thomas Mroczka, will be Thursday August 28, 2014 at 10:00 AM at St. Annes Church, 2445 CTY RD. E. in White Bear Lake. Interment will take place at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Cemetery in Hastings, MN. Pallbearers are Riley, Justin and Joseph Kieffer, Sam and Will Feyder, Ryan, Drew and Charlie Kieffer, and Travis Tittensor.
