Edna A. Tarrant

Edna A. Tarrant, age 90, of Hastings, formerly of Richfield, MN passed away March 7, 2011. She was born April 30, 1920 in Lakefield, MN to John and Meta (Bauer) Roesner. Edna attended Lakefield schools � country school, Parochial and graduated high school in 1938. She had spent many years working as a waitress, sometimes hostess and manager � hard work but she loved it. She was preceded in death by her parents; and 13 siblings. Edna is survived by children Suzanne (Floyd) Titus, Jane (Steve) Nyberg, and Steve (Kathy) Tarrant; also 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service, officiated by Rev. Howie Krienke, will be held 11:30am Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 E. Seventh St., Hastings, with visitation from 11am until time of theservice. Interment will follow in Lakeside Cemetery, Hastings. The pallbearers are her six grandchildren, Gregory Schopf, Mark Schopf, Brian Schopf, Elyse Tarrant, Kelsey Tarrant, and Riley Tarrant.
