Edith J. Machart

Edith Jean Machart, age 85 of Hastings and formerly of Wauwatosa and Eau Claire, WI, passed away on January 31, 2012 at Regina Assisted Living. Edith was born on September 11, 1926 in Wauwatosa, WI to John and Mildred (Speller) Ruenzel. She was a 1944 graduate of Wauwatosa Senior High School and former employee of Atlantic MutualInsurance. Edith enjoyed baking - espeically her secret recipe chocolate chip cookies and spending time with her granddaughters. She is survived by her husband of 52 years Harold; son Brian (Jean); granddaughters Caroline, Ella and Olivia; alsomany nieces and nephews. Edith was preceded in death by her parents ; brother Ralph; sister-in-law Helen; andniece Janet. The funeral service will be held 12PMSaturday, February 4, 2012 at Regina Chapel, 1175 Nininger Road, Hastings with a visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will be at a later date at Wisconsin Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Regina Foundation, 1175 Nininger Road, Hastings.The family thanks the staff at Regina for their outstanding care of Edith during her residence there.
