Earl C. Quant

Earl C. Quant, age 62, of Chisago City, passed away unexpectedly July 10, 2009.Earl was born January 17, 1947 in Hastings to Edmund and Viola (Donndelinger) Quant. He grew up in Hastings and after school had a lot of adventures, but his heart was always in Hastings. He loved his job driving that big truck, and put on thousands of miles over the years. He was the kind of guy that played jokes on people to see them smile or laugh. He enjoyed and excelled at woodworking and remodeling. If you ever needed help Earl would be there. Most of all Earl loved being around his family and friends who meant so much to him. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Carol; and one nephew.Earl is survived by his companion Bonnie Laurents; daughter Tiffany; son Douglas; grandchildren Alanna, Dylan, Chayton, Zachary, Tammi, and Staci; sister Sharon (Ben) Moes; brother Glen (Sally) Quant; five nieces and nephews; seven great nieces and nephews; Bonnie�s children and mother, Chris (Erin) Laurents and Elsie Peters. Funeral service 10:00 AM Friday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. 15th, Hastings. Visitation AT THE CHURCH (West Entrance) 4-8 pm Thursday and 1 hr. prior to service. Memorials preferred.
