Dorothy J. Most, age 67 of Hastings, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 21, 2017, at her home. Dorothy Joy, the daughter of Al and Marjorie Lanahan, was born on December 5, 1949, in St. Paul. She attended Henry Sibley High School in West St. Paul where she graduated with the class of 1967. She later married Allen "Al" Most in October of 1969, also in West St. Paul. Over the years, Dorothy enjoyed making crafts of all kinds and had a talent in doing so. Family was very important to her as she enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, and grandson. Dorothy is survived by her husband, Al of Hastings; her children, Scott Most and Heather (significant other, Dan) Most; her only grandson, Corey; and by other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2017, at Our Saviours Ev. Lutheran Church in Hastings, with Reverend Lloyd Menke officiating. A reception will follow the service at church. Visitation will be held at church on Tuesday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Arrangements are being completed by Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home Cremation Services of Hastings.
