Dorothy D. Hertogs, age 50, of Hastings died February 12, 2010 at her home after a lengthy illness.Dorothy was born November 4, 1959 in Charleston, SC to Warren and Dorothy (Kirkland) Holman. She had worked in the Health Care industryin bothadministrative and office capacities.She is survived by the "lights of her life" son Alexander "Alex" Hertogs of Minneapolis, and daughter Rebecca "Becca" Hertogs of Hastings; sisters Cheryl (significant other David) Johnson of Hastings, and Linda (George) Kretk; brother Paul (Debbie) Holman of Neenah, WI; favorite aunt Josie Keichler of Hastings; best friend Ron Wettels (Lin Youle) of Hastings.Memorial service 11AM Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 East Seventh Street, Hastings, with agathering one hour prior to the service.Interment Lakeside Cemetery.In lieu of flowers memorials arepreferred to the Dorothy Hertogs Memorial Fund.
