Donovan R. Lucius

Donovan R. Lucius, age 75, of Hastings/Cannon Falls, passed away July 29, 2015 in Amery, WI. He was born on August 26, 1939 in Cannon Falls to Michael and Marie Lucius. Don was a lifelong farmer and a very proud grandfather. His grandchildren always knew how to put a smile on his face. He was an avid collector who loved to collect antique toys and cars. Don is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Annette; and brother, Harold Hubert. He is survived by daughters, Cheri Lucius and Jolene (Shon) Johnson; grandchildren, Donovan “DJ”; Madison; Carter; Samantha; and Ryan; other relatives and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial, officiated by Fr. Cole Kracke, will be held on Tuesday (8/4) at 11:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Miesville. A visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday at church. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery in New Trier.
