Donald W. Gustafson

Donald W. Gustafson of Naples, FL, formerly of Hastings died Tuesday, August 12, 2014 in Naples. Donald was born March 22, 1927 in Minneapolis to Edward and Frances (Larson) Gustafson. A graduate of Cannon Falls High School, as a young man, he lived in the Vasa, MN area. Don married Marilyn Bergman on December 6, 1953 and worked as a real estate developer for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Marilyn, son Craig sister Beverly Cooper and brother Dick Gustafson.. Donald is survived by daughter Paula Gustafson of Mesa, AZ, and his son Cory (Cheryl) Gustafson of Naples, FL.; grandchildren Daniel (Kari) Gustafson and Laura (Eric) Nitti; great grandchildren Ryah and Neko Gustafson and Marissa Nitti; sisters Sharyn (Sterling) Sorenson, Joann Johnson and Carole (Conrad) Lindell. The Funeral Service, officiated by Rev. Doug Duin will be held 11 AM Monday, August 18, 2014 at Our Saviours Ev. Lutheran Church, 400 West Ninth Street, Hastings with visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will follow in Lakeside Cemetery, Hastings. The pallbearers are Daniel Gustafson, Laura Nitti, Eric Nitti, Doug Bergman, Ryan Bergman and Meghan Bergman.
