Donald A. Sodergren

Donald A. Sodergren, age 76, of Hastings, diedAugust 6, 2008 at the ReginaMedical Center in Hastings.He was bornFebruary 6, 1932 in St. Paul to Emil and Selma (Miller) Sodergren. He was a graduate of Forest Lake High School, and married Betty Skifstad on April 14, 1966 in Watertown, SD.Donald was preceded in death by his parents, son Gary, and daughter Kim. He is survived by his wife Betty; daughters Roxanne (Gary) Lahti of Appleton, WI and Marcy (Andy) Austin of St. Paul; also his 7 grandchildren Brian, Tom and Mike Lahti, Travis and Alena Kearns, and Katie and A.J. Austin. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Ed Frederickwill be held at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 East 7th Street in Hastingsat 10:00 A.M. on Monday, August 11, 2008 with a visitation held 1 hour prior to the service. The interment will follow in the Elim Cemetery in Scandia, MN.
