Deloris Rother

Deloris Rother, age 81, of Vermillion died March 12, 2010 at United Hospital in St. Paul.Deloris was born September 30, 1928 in Farmington to Ludwig and Anna (Schiller) Wagner. Deloris was a graduate of Randolph High School, and married Le Roy Rother on June 23, 1948 in Cannon Falls. Deloris was an avid Twins fan, and enjoyed needlepoint. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Rita; and grandson Mark. Deloris is survived by her husband Le Roy; children, Cathy (Ron) Kirchner, Steve (Rhonda) Rother, Judy Rother, Barbara (James) Field, Marlene (Terry) Serres, Pat Rother, and Peg (Kevin) Dobias; also 11 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren; siblings, Dorothy (Bill) Sensibaugh, Gerald (Dolores) Wagner, Joe (Gerry) Wagner, Eugene (Carol) Wagner, Odelia (Art) Schramm, and Georgianna Knutson. The Funeral Mass, officiated by Rev. Stan Mader, will be 10AM Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Vermillion. The visitation will be 4-8PM Monday, March 15, 2010 at Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 E. Seventh Street, Hastings, and one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers are Vince Rother, Joshua Serres, Marty Rother, Scott Kirchner, Shawn Kirchner, and Brian Field.
