Deloris Nadine Almquist

Deloris N. Almquist, age 78, of No. Ft. Myers, FL died August 3, 2009 at the United Hospital in St. Paul. Deloris was born February 24, 1931 in Woolstock, Iowa to Clarence and Doris (Myhre) Norcross. She married Richard Almquist on July 30, 1966. Deloris was employed as a clerical worker at 3M and Smead Manufacturingprior to her retirement. She loved to sew, and enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Deloris was preceded in death by her parents; and brother Darold. She is survived by her husband Richard; children, Kathy (George) Siebenaler of Hastings, Russ Eckard of Florida, Nancy (Scott) Baker of Florida;9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; siblings, Dorothy Lugg, Beverly Tibbits, Carroll Norcross, and Connie Randall, all of Iowa. The Funeral Service, officiated by Rev. Chris Kneen will be held at 11:00am Thursday, August 6, 2009 at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 E. Seventh St., Hastings, with a visitation held from 4-8pm Wednesday at the funeral home, and also one hour prior to the Thursday service. Interment will be held at County Line Cemetery.
