Delores Mary Knoll

Delores M. Knoll, age 84, died peacefully on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Regina Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Delores Mary, the daughter of Mathias and Magdalene (Beissel) Reinardy was born on April 17, 1931 in Hastings and attended Catholic School in New Trier. On January 18, 1958, Delores was united in marriage to Anthony �Boots� T. Knoll at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Hastings. They were blessed with six children before his sudden passing on March 1, 1971. Outside of raising her family, she was a longtime employee at 3M Chemolite and retired after 33 years of service. Delores was a faithful member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Boots; daughter Susan; brothers Arnold, Leander and Eugene; son-in-law John Jamison; sister-in-law Eva Reinardy; brothers-in-law Arnold Kimmes, Glen Snyder and Jerry Huberty. Delores is survived by her five children, Randall (Mary) Knoll, Thomas (Mary) Knoll, Jacquelyn (Mike) Green, Kathy Jamison, and Brenda (Lenny) Schweich; her thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; her siblings, Al (Marilyn) Reinardy, Lorraine Kimmes, Rose Huberty, Monica Snyder; sisters-in-law Joanne and Vivian Reinardy; also by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial, officiated by Fr. David Hennen will be held 10 AM Tuesday, May 5, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. Fifteenth St., Hastings. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-8 PM Monday at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 201 East Seventh St, Hastings and one hour prior to the Tuesday Mass at church. Pallbearers are Joe Knoll, Jesse Knoll, Michael Green, Matthew Green, John Jamison, Nick Schweich, Rod Sikkinga; and honorary pallbearers are her granddaughters.
