Della Julia Saas

Della Julia Saas, age 81, of Kenyon, MN and formerly of Hastings, died Friday, August 26, 2016 at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.Della was born March 12, 1935 in Crosby, MN to Thomas and Julia (Bottenau) Edgington. She was a graduate of Crosby, MN High School and later married Norman Saas on August 1, 1959 in Blue Earth, MN.She was preceded in death by her parents; son Jeffrey Saas and one sister.Della is survived by her husband Norman; three children, Sherri (Mike Frank) McClellan, Warren Saas and Curt Saas; also 1 granddaughter, Erin McClellan. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Thursday, September 1, 2016 atCaturia-Smidt Funeral Home Cremation Services, 201 East Seventh Street, Hastings, MN, with Father Leo Schneider officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the Thursday service at the funeral home.
