David M. Berg

David Michael Berg, 59, passed away peacefully on the morning of Monday, September 27th, 2010 in his home in Hastings. On September 8th, 1951, David was born to Harold and Aileen (Le Compte) Berg in Granite Falls, Minnesota. David, who recently retired from the Hastings Post Office, had a great love for his wife, Patricia, sons, grandchildren, and two dogs and enjoyed watching the Vikings and Twins. David liked spending time playing fantasy football, hanging out in the backyard and sitting around bonfires.David will be sadly missed by his wife of 33 years, Patricia; sons: Ryan Berg and Dylan (Eric) Berg; grandchildren: Tanner and Ryan Grace; father: Harold Berg; brother: Jon (Jody) Berg; aunt: Juliet Mortenson; niece: Cathy Jo Berg; grand niece: Callie Jo Berg; the Sherry-Likes family; dogs: Austin and Kingston; cousins and many good friends.Funeral services for David will be Friday, October 1st, 2010 at 6pm at the Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring Street, Hastings. Visitation will be on Friday, October 1st, starting at 4pm.
