David A. Glazier

David A. Glazier, age 70, of Welch died Monday at home after a courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma. David was born October 11, 1939 in Batavia, New Yorkto C. Marion and Esther (Plowe) Glazier. He was united in marriage to Judy Bauch on June 24, 1961 in South St. Paul. He taught andcoached track and footballat South St. Paul High School for over30 years.He was preceded in death by his parents. David is survived by his wife Judy; sons Craig (Julie) of Colorado, Ross (Cindy) ofMantorville, and Darin (Jodi) of Cottage Grove; grandchildren, Derek, Karina, Jaclyn, Chase, Rachel, Tori and Grant; step grandchildren, Lacy, Levi, Auston, Stephanie, and Justin; brothers Ronald (Loretta) and Richard (Joyce), both of Byron, NY; also many nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.The Memorial Service, officiated by Rev. Percy Damrow, will be held at 11AM Saturday, March 13, 2010 at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, 202 W. Eighth Street,Hastings.A memorial gathering will be held from 5-8PMFriday, March 12, 2010 at Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 E. Seventh Street, Hastings, and one hour prior to theservice at church.In lieu of flowers memorialsmay begiven to St. John's Ev.
