Daniel Bernard Passe, Sr.

Daniel B. Passe Sr., age 82, of Hampton, passed away August 15, 2018, at United Hospital in St. Paul. He was born in Wabasha to John and Mary Passe on March 3, 1936, the youngest of 7 boys. He worked for almost 50 years for the US Postal Service. Daniel was a past Mayor of Hampton. He loved the River and watching the barges and trains pass by, as well as the eagles flying above in the bluffs. He is preceded in death by wife of 50 years, Judith; brothers, Harold, Art, Ray, Bob, Harry, and Jim. Daniel is survived by children, Daniel Jr. (Araceli), Patrick (Laura), Scott (AnnMarie), Jim (Tracy), Lisa (Brent) Thompson, Colleen (Heath) Harrington; 18 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday (8/21), 11:00 AM, at Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring St., Hastings. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment, Lakeside Cemetery in Hastings. Memorials preferred to MN Adult and Teen Challenge.
