Daniel A. Bilek, age 63, of Mankato, passed away at Harry Meyering Center on October 8, 2014. He was born September 6, 1951 in New Prague to Daniel and Mathilda (Ballinger) Bilek. Daniel is survived by his sister, Mary Ellen (Don) Olson; nephew, Joel (Amy) Olson; and niece, Anne (Tom) Kilzer. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Hastings. The interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
