Dale F. Macheska

Dale F. Macheska, age 61, of Hastings died on Monday, February 2, 2009 at his residence. Dale was born December 28, 1947 in Hastings to John James and Pearl Cecelia (McCoy) Macheska. He had been employed in landscaping and maintenance at the Hastings Golf Course. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Lorraine Damsgard, Don Macheska and Marion Stinson. He is survived by his children Melinda Macheska, Christine Stream and Quinn Macheska, all of Red Wing; 10 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; significant other Joann Wennersten; brother Ken (Josie) Macheska and sister Gen (Jerry) Hoeschen all of Hastings; also nieces and nephews. The funeral service, officiated by Fr. Abraham George will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, February 7, 2009 at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 E.Seventh St., Hastings with a visitation 1 hour prior to the service
