Constance E. Hoolehan

Constance E. "Connie" Hoolehan, age 90 of Hastings, died peacefully at Regina Medical Center on Saturday evening, October 9, 2021. Constance Elizabeth, the daughter of Conrad and Elizabeth (Pixley) Lein, was born on May 21, 1931, in Hudson, Wisconsin. Following her graduation from Hudson High School, Connie was united in marriage to Herman N. Holzemer in 1950, and they were blessed with six children prior to later divorcing. She later married Jim Hoolehan in 1981 and together they enjoyed traveling and creating many memories prior to his passing on October 28, 2013. Connie was a longtime waitress and bartender in Hastings where she truly enjoyed visiting with all of her customers and friends over the years. She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands, Herman and Jim; and by her brother, John. Connie is survived by her children, Mike (Lynda) Holzemer, Steven "Buck" (Patti Petrich) Holzemer, Beth Holzemer, Bob (Wendy) Holzemer, John Holzemer, Mary Holzemer, Jim (Patti) Hoolehan, Kelly Hoolehan, and Sandra Hoolehan ; grandchildren, Jason, Nick, Aaron, Dean, Sam, Joshua, Tyler, Anna, Jake, Zach, Angela, and Tory; many great grandchildren; sister, Gwen Windahl; and by many other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Connie's Life will be held from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Friday, October 22, 2021, at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings.
