Clifford "Cliff" H. Moen

Clifford "Cliff" Moen, age 89, a local Hastings artist, died peacefully on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at his home. Clifford Harland, was born in Minneapolis to Helmer and Selma (Olson) Moen on September 11, 1926. He graduated from Roosevelt High School in Minneapolis and attended Minneapolis School of Art and University of Minnesota. Cliff married Barbara Stratton on November 4, 1958. His passion was for his family, art and travel. Cliff, is survived by his wife Barbara, sons Chris (Snow) of Edina and Aaron (Sally) of Hastings, former daughter-in-law Richelle Moen of Bloomington and eight grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son David, and his two brothers Earl and Art. Memorial visitation will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home Cremation Services, 201 East Seventh St., Hastings.
